Ghost Runner

You left before it began

Not near
Not far
Just ran

When I hear from you my blood joins the race
And my heart

What's left
Runs away

Gum

You opened up

and took me by the lips
It felt so soft
a taste I couldn't miss

I was sweet
and you got sticky
But all those flavours
resisting was tricky

So the more you chew
and the harder I bite
We got tangled up
leaving me spat to the side
